Question by Irish: If you had the choice where would you go: Thailand, Cambodia or South Africa?
Which of these three countries do you reckon is the cheapest for a 3 week holiday? I’ve got good hotel/apartment deals in all three just trying to figure out all the other costs that go with a good holiday?! Thanks

Out of the three (and this may seem rude or judgmental), I’d say South Africa, since it is the most civilized country out of the three, in most places.

Oh Irish – my three favourite countries in the world – but of the three I would say that Cambodia is the cheapest – take your money as American Dollars and they will be readily accepted everywhere.
Only thing is you haven’t said what sort of a holiday you want – if it’s a beach holiday then Cambodia does not have a lot of choices and for a beach holiday I would go to Thailand. – but if you want to explore then Cambodia is the one – don’t forget to go to Siem Reap and Anghor Wat – fascinating places.
